McNaughton Tour

Hey all, the Tour of McNaughton is a go for this next Saturday! Let's meet at the race's start/finish area at 9 A.M. Should have a few locals to help find the way. Bring your own supplies - unless you want to drink the creek water like I do. It's a little smelly but lots of "body". After the tour/run is over, we will take tabs on the possibility of running a second loop Saturday evening. Unless you've ran McNaughton at night, well, you just haven't had enough fun! The trails are in pretty good condition even with the recent rains and should be great by Saturday. Nice cool temps and plenty of sunshine is in the forecast. See you there!

Hey bobobrien, Good to have you check out McNaughton! There is a great group of runners over in your back yard called the buffalo runners. Check them out, there might be some of those animals here on Saturday.
Check out the rest of this web site for location/directions. We will start at the same place the race starts - near the end of the paved road. The race course is a ten mile loop all inside the park. Shorter distances can be run but let some folks know before you leave the route so we don't file a missing person report! Two creek crossing where you will likely get water over the top of your shoes and plenty of single track, plenty of hills.
Sniff you later!

Thanks for the great tour Courage! Also if you could bark a message to Arlene and Marvin they are both very gracious hosts and great guides.

BTW, Also let Marvin know I did google John T. McNaughton so I can tell him all about him next time around.

Thanks again!!!! I had a tail wagging good time.
